Defending Medical Product Liability and Toxic Torts Litigation
Ioana handles complex litigation matters from inception to favorable resolution.
She has extensive experience litigating product liability and commercial disputes in state and federal courts. Ioana has defended numerous manufacturers of products, including vaccines, gastrointestinal and cold medications, surgical sutures and needles. She also defends manufacturers in toxic tort cases, including asbestos-containing products and chemicals.
Winning Trial and Appellate Experience
Prior to joining Archer Norris, Ioana was a member of a trial team that obtained a unanimous defense verdict in a wrongful-death pharmaceutical product liability action, following an eight-week jury trial in Napa County, California.
Additionally, Ioana has appellate experience, having appeared in cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Committed to Education and Pro-Bono Work
Ioana served as an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco School Law for several years, where she taught Legal Analysis. She was also involved with the capital appeal of a Louisiana death-row inmate in Louisiana Supreme Court.
