Practices

Gregory K. Federico

Associate

As a litigation attorney with broad experience in civil litigation matters, Gregory Federico handles complex construction defect litigation, personal injury, products liability, general liability, and insurance matters.  His current practice is focused primarily on construction defect litigation.

California High-Demand Construction and Window Defect Defense

Greg’s construction defect experience includes the defense of various trades in numerous single family and multi-family residential housing matters designated as complex litigation.  These matters routinely consist of multiple party disputes and frequently involve six figure demands and multi-million dollar claims.

In particular, he has extensive experience with insurance subrogation matters and the defense of window manufacturers against water intrusion and mold contamination claims.

Providing Multiple Levels of Litigation Solutions

Greg aggressively seeks the best resolution of each matter he handles for his clients and encourages the use of arbitration, mediation, and the special master process to quickly resolve disputes.  He has also seen success in arguing law and motion matters at the trial court level, and has successfully argued an appeal before the California Court of Appeal, First Appellate District which resulted in a complete dismissal of fraud and misrepresentation claims against a large corporate client.

Enriched by Personal Pursuits

Outside of the practice of law, Greg enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, traveling, and cooking.  He played collegiate soccer for the University of California at Davis where he served as team captain during his final season.
