Persuading California Juries in Complex Business Litigation
An experienced trial attorney, Lisa has taken three jury trials to verdict in state and federal court.
The federal court case involved prosecution of a complex fraud/breach of contract dispute surrounding the formation of a large retail business. The two state court cases involved defense of a commercial property damage claim on behalf of a large water bottling company and most recently, defense of a personal injury claim on behalf of an underground pipeline company and its employee. The clients were pleased when the jury returned a verdict for less than the amount offered prior to trial resulting in the court ordering Plaintiff to pay defense costs and expert witness fees.
